All that aside, I know I was missing before that, so I apologize. Hopefully maybe those reading this who generally like my stuff will forgive me.
For the longest time, I've been an avid fan of the Mother/ Earthbound games. Truly, they are a gem in a cesspool of generic, stereotypical games. Itoi has done a remarkable job story wise, and is one, if not my favorite video game director.
I say this bitter sweetly, since he plans on discontinuing the Mother series (stopping after Mother 3). A decision that I respect as a fan and gamer, but at the same time, hits me like a haymaker to the balls. I truly believed that the series could continue onto bigger and better things without ruining the formula we the fans call, "Classic".
After playing a bit of Mother 3, and the way that I felt that even though the formula changed, the message, story and humor were all there, and all in a way that (excuse the cornyness of this next part) touched me on a personal level. A few nights later, I had a dream.
-"In this dream of a not so distant future, I was on a subway, and playing Mother 3. A man approached me and asked what I was playing, and I explained to him the game and it's premise. He remarked that the system I was playing on was extremely old, to which I said that the creator of the game had discontinued the series. I was questioned as to how that made me feel, to which I said it made me sad, but I respected it all the same. I went on to say that I felt that the series could have been continued if the proper story was inserted. I went on to say that I wrote a mock story for the game, and the man said he would be interested to read it. His stop came, but before he got off, he passed me a business card to contact him for a copy of my story. As he exited the subway, I read the name; "Shigesato Itoi".-"
In short, it has become my dream to make Mother 4. And as such, I will be writing what I would make the story about in Mother 4. I will more than likely be adding character sketches, profiles and descriptions.
This is a major task, but I feel so strongly towards completing it, and would seriously consider directing the game if given the chance (as it's one of my dreams), so there might be more meat and potatoes to this than usual.

Dale Denton: What? That's not even... a figure of speech.
Saul: Pandora can't go back into the box - he only comes out.
